Meet Your Magicians
Alex Kazam
Originally from Belfast, Ireland, Alex Kazam brings over 18 years of experience as a magician to the stage. After only two years of living in the United States, he has already established himself as a true professional, trusted by companies like Netflix, Universal NBC, Home Depot and Hilton Hotels to entertain their staff and customers. Back in Ireland he performed for thousands of people at many weddings, restaurants, nightclubs and corporate parties.
Since moving to the US he has also become a member of the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, and co-created his stage show residency at Room Number 13: The Death of an Illusionist Dinner Show - where he met his magical partner Miss Direction!
Miss Direction
Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, Miss Direction has also been quick to establish herself as a talented entertainer in the few years she has been in Hollywood.
As well as becoming a magician in both The Death of An Illusionist and The Alex Kazam and Miss Direction act, she performs regularly as a singer at venues such as The Escape Hotel, The Roosevelt Hotel and at weddings and private events. She has a decade of theater/musical theater experience, is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and has also recently started a rock and roll band.
As an add-on when booking her magical talents, she can also provide a musical opening act before the illusions begin!
Frequently Asked Questions
Will your show work on a large stage?
Yes! We are one of the few magical acts that are fully equipped to perform in large venues. We have large stage illusions such as the classic cutting a woman in half, as well as a levitation and appearances/disappearances. If your venue doesn’t have lighting or sound equipment, we can bring our own. We have a full team of stagehands and technicians to make your dream magic show a reality.
I don’t need a big stage show. I’m hosting a smaller gathering at a restaurant/home/small venue. Will your show still work?
Absolutely. We have a “parlour” style show that is ideal for corporate events, family parties and other smaller venues. Despite being a more intimate performance, no expense is spared on the quality of magic or performance. It features mind-reading, classic sleight of hand and exciting audience interaction.
Can you walk around my event and perform magic at individual tables?
This type of performance is often referred to as ‘strolling magic,’ and needless to say, it’s one of our specialties! This style is perfect for cocktail hour at weddings, corporate Holiday parties and restaurants. Contact Us to check our availability!
What about a magic show for my kid’s birthday party!
Performing magic for children is one of the great joys for any true magician. For this reason we have put together a 40-minute kids show that can be performed in practically any location. A great advantage of our show is that we’re a double act with both a male and female magician, providing inspiration for ALL the kids in the audience!
Can you travel as far as [insert city]?
We perform everywhere - both in the United States and internationally. A quote for a show will include a breakdown of any associated travel costs, and we endeavor to keep them as low as possible.
